This list could be improved if it had the My911 app, it's pretty much OnStar but on your phone, i'm a fan.

I’d add InstaFetch to this list. It’s great for offline reading and it integrates with Instapaper. Anyway – thanks for sharing your list.

Good list, I use astro loads for all sorts, smart vibrator is awesome setting out custom vibrates, and loc8or is good for finding what I need when out and about.

I’m more than eager to see a means to manage my contacts by LAST NAME.

Does anyone know how this might be done other than just putting names into the wrong field (and all the problems that causes)?

I think my favourite has to be the Handcent (SMS) application on my Nexus One
