Acer on Tuesday previewed tablet computers planned for release next year, including three Android-based devices and one that runs Windows. Acer showed the five new devices, three of which will run on Android, with the other two running Windows. Acer didn’t provide details about pricing or carrier distribution during its product event. Executives said pricing hasn’t yet been determined, and the tablets haven’t yet officially been named.

The 10.1-inch tablet is packed in a 13.3mm thick case and it has a 1280×800 resolution screen, full Flash 10.1 support, dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor and Acer’s own User Interface. The rest of the features include HDMI output for some 1080p fun, 5MP rear camera and HD front facing camer, a ten-point multi-touch system and integrated Gyroscope.
The 7-inch version has a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm CPU while the rest of the features are pretty much identical to the 10.1-incher. Both of course pack WiFi and 3G.
