Amazon launched an application for iPhone & iPod Touch users that allows them to read more than 240,000 Kindle-formatted books available from the company’s library. The app – which is a free download from the Apple App Store – is called Kindle for iPhone, and uses Amazon’s new WhisperSync technology to keep ebooks bookmarked across multiple devices.
