Hrm… i’m searching for solution protecting USB drive, not installed on one

Found USB antivirus by Arzoosoft, it seems good but it’s not free, maybe you can suggest any free solution?

im using “4GB IMATION NANO FLASH DRIVE”
RECENTLY its giving a message like” disk is write protected – remove write protection i am not able to copy any thing in to it and im not able to format it__ please help me
