Apple has updated its white entry-level MacBook Tuesday morning. The new model features a better processor, improved battery life, and a new graphics chip. The updated model is available for purchase immediately. The machine comes equipped with a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor and the same NVIDIA 320M used in the latest revision of the 13″ MacBook Pro. Bus speed, installed RAM, and hard drive remain the same as before at 1066MHz, 2GB, and 250GB respectively.
The new chipset is also more efficient for everyday tasks like checking your e-mail and surfing the Web, Apple claims, extending the new MacBook’s battery life to a full 10 hours, or three hours more than last year’s model.
