BitLet is a web-based Java applet that lets you download torrent files onto your computer. This works for those that don’t have a BitTorrent client installed on their computer, making way for more options for the sharing of torrent files with others.

BitLet is pretty simple: just paste the address of the .torrent file, click Download torrent, and select the directory you want to save the file to. This tool really aids in the sharing capabilities of torrent files, and makes it user and system agnostic for more sharing options.

Providing an icon link or bookmarking tool for others to get your torrent content, so that others won’t need to manually enter in the torrent metafile address, would be a useful feature inclusion as well.
