Many users may find expandable ads annoying, but as Google points out, the format could be valuable to both advertisers and customers when used to show movie trailers, video game clips, or other images that require greater emphasis on detail.

And like other Google ads, you’ll earn based on whether the expandable ads on your site are priced on a cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-impression (CPM) basis. Keep in mind that you’ll generate earnings from CPC expandable ads when a user visits the advertiser’s landing page, and not when a user simply clicks to expand the ad.

Google says that AdSense content network publishers who have enabled image ads and have AdSense code on their websites are automatically eligible to show expandable ads with no additional action required. Source

Google AdSense Ads in Feeds are contextual and are available in 468×60 banner and medium 300×250 rectangle formats. They are probably a mix of CPC and CPM ads because you can show either text ads or image ads or even a combination of both in your feeds.

The threat, which is identified by BitDefender as Trojan.Qhost.WU, modifies the infected computers’ Hosts file (a local storage for domain name / IP address mappings, which is consulted before domain name servers and is considered authoritative).

The modified file contains a line redirecting the host “page2.googlesyndication.com” which should point to an IP of the form 6x.xxx.xxx.xxx to a different address, of the form 9x.xxx.xxx.xxx, so that the infected machines’ browsers read ads from server at the replacement address rather than from Google.

“This is a serious situation that damages users and webmasters alike,” said Attila-Mihaly Balazs, a BitDefender virus analyst. “Users are affected because the advertisements and/or the linked sites may contain malicious code, which is a very likely situation, given that they are promoted using malware in the first place. Webmasters are affected because the trojan takes away viewers and thus a possible money source from their websites.”

BitDefender’s website describes the trojan, which it identifies as Trojan.Qhost.WU, as spreading at a “low” level and causing “medium” damage.

Go to your Beta Blogger template page, and click on ‘Edit HTML’ tab and tick the checkbox of ‘Expand Widget Templates’. Wait for a sec and look for the following lines of Beta Blogger template HTML code usually found somewhere after the half-way mark of the entire codings:

Then put your Google Adsense code after: <data:post.body/>

After doing so, the problem you’ll faced is that Blogger will not accept the codes thus unable to save changes made or the Adsense ad will not appear correctly or at all when checking on your blog. The issue is with the following Adsense codes.

There is a solution to this, which is either to remove those 2 codes completely or manipulate the codes. Removal would be totally against Google Adsense TOS so that leaves manipulation as the only obvious choice.

So here are the solutions:
1] Replace <!– with &lt;!–
2] Replace //–> with //–&gt;

While you browse the post page, take a look of the page source code. You should see that the Google Adsense code looks exactly the same as it’s originally generated from your Adsense Account!

The most basic method of increasing your number of impressions is to increase the traffic to your web site.

Increase Click-Through-Ratio (CTR)
Increase in Click-Through-Ratio can mean a large increase in revenue. A rise from a CTR of 1.0 to a CTR of 1.1 should mean an increase in revenue of 10%. Use simple design with the AdSense ads displayed prominently. According to Google, ads in the skyscraper format works better (especially on the right side of the page). • Using Adsense-aware widget is the easiest way to implement Google Adsense code in Beta Blogger template. The setup is simple as the instructions are easy and straightforward to follow.

  Once the Adsense-aware widget created completely, drag the Adsense-widget around, to everywhere that the Google Adsense is expected to be displayed.
  

  Note, clicking on the Add A Page Element link in Beta Blogger template page, will bring up a list of various widgets that are supported by Beta Blogger. The Adsense-widget at sidebar has only a limited set of Google Adsense templates that are fit with the size of sidebar.
