Nokia C5 C-Series Mobile Specification, Price

Nokia recently announced their first C-series C5 smartphone, this handset has a relatively small form factor, whilst still offering some half decent specs at a pretty decent price. The device includes access to Nokia’s range of mobile services, such as free navigation, in one affordable package, with an estimated retail price of EUR 135, before taxes and subsidies. As expected, it runs on Symbian OS S60 3rd edition and comes with a small 2.2-inch colour screen that is the main attraction of an otherwise, tried and tested candybar format. There’s also a 3.2-megapixel camera and Nokia’s own navigation app, Ovi Maps, which has recently been made free and makes use of the onboard GPS to offer turn-by-turn navigation.

Firefox Mobile Maemo Arrives on Nokia N900

The Mozilla Foundation has released Firefox for Mobile 1.0 for Nokia’s Maemo 5 operating system. Nokia’s first phone on this newly developed revamped version platform is N900, which is widely dubbed as the smartest phone by Nokia. Mozilla is also working on versions for smartphones running Windows Mobile and Android. This mini version of Firefox will come fully loaded with a host of great features. Nokia E72 Now Available on Stores

Nokia E72 is now available for purchase. The new mobile phone comes to the market with a QWERTY keyboard, which can be seen as a great option both by business users and by messaging enthusiasts, the company stated. The E72 boasts of new functionalities such as desktop-like e-mail and chat experiences. The E72 also packs in the latest version of Ovi Maps with A-GPS navigation and compass,
Visually similar to the existing E71, the E72 comes with a higher resolution, 5 megapixel camera while the dimensions remain almost the same.

The features list of the new handset also shows Nokia’s push consumer email service, Nokia Messaging, with support for popular emails like Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, and Ovi Chat, offering users the possibility to mobilize a number of up to ten personal emails. Support for Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler are included with the new handset as well, along with great messaging characteristics.

Nokia N97 mini First Look

N97 Mini tops the list of latest phones by the company. This phone is a somewhat smaller version of Nokia’s current flagship N97 smartphone. Nokia’s smaller version of N97 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard built into its 14.2mm thin frame. It measures 113 x 52.5 x 14.2mm. Nokia N97 also sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a QWERTY keyboard in a bigger frame measuring 117.2 x 55.3 x 15.9 mm. The slide-out QWERTY keyboard is a full 3-row. Its list price stands at 450 euros, or about $639. This is not much less than that of the N97, which was initially sold in the U.S. for $700.

Nokia N97 mini will be Nokia’s first device to feature Lifecasting with Ovi — a new partnership with the world’s most popular social network, Facebook. Lifecasting enables users to update their Facebook status directly from the phone’s homescreen.

N97 mini supports Ovi Store where users can add new applications, widgets, ringtones and other content to the phone. It also packs Ovi Maps and comes with integrated A-GPS and compass along with voice navigation for driving or walking.

Nokia N97 comes at a cost of Rs. 31,000 and comes with a tilting 3.2″ touch display, QWERTY keyboard and fully customisable home screen.

Nokia N900 officially announced

After the Announcement of Nokia Booklet 3G ‘mini laptop’, Nokia announced the Nokia N900, which is the next evolution in its Meamo software. The Nokia N900 is a Linux based handset and aims to deliver PC functionality on your mobile. It is the first Maemo 5 based Internet tablet and the successor to the Nokia N810 Internet tablet. The device has an impressive hardware spec sheet that begins right from the processor – an ARM Cortex A8 that provides 1GB of application memory and Open GL ES 2.0 Graphics acceleration support. Nokia Unveils Booklet 3G ‘mini laptop’

Mobile Gaint Nokia Now enters in Laptop World, Nokia has announced today its debut in the world of computer systems. According to the announcement, the company plans to roll out its first Windows-based portable computer system, the Nokia Booklet 3G. Confirming previous rumors about it, the new device is going to compete in the market of netbook computer systems; more precisely, the Booklet 3G is expected to go head-to-head with some of the already available Intel Atom-based netbooks.

The device is a standard netbook, weighing 1.25kg and with a ten-inch screen. It’s powered by an Intel Atom processor, and will offer a choice of HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, A-GPS for mapping and other location-based services, and promises up to 12 hours of battery life.

Nokia Booklet 3G comes toting a glass 10.1-inch HD display (it has an HDMI port for HD video out). Nokia’s mini laptop PC also featuring onboard assisted-GPS with Ovi Maps neatly sat in the passenger seat. There’s a single front-facing camera nestled above the 10.1-inch HD screen for video chat, with Bluetooth and a built-in SD card reader also making appearances.

Nokia N97 Mini revealed

Recenlty Nokia Release there new Mobile Phone Nokia N97, and there is rumours of a Nokia N97 Mini, a smaller brother to the original. So, the N97 “mini” looks exactly like his older brother except for being slightly smaller. The N97 Mini will apparently have roughly the same size keyboard as the current model, but lack the D-pad. Obviously, this means the smaller version will have to have a touchscreen, albeit a smaller one than the N97’s.

The device is more than attractive, both due to the high-quality camera it includes, and because of its multimedia features. It sports Carl Zeiss optics, can record videos at 30 frames per second and at a 640 x 480 pixel resolution, and also sports 3G connectivity on the 850/1900/2100 bands and a dual-sliding design.

Nokia N86 8 Megapixel Camera launches in India

Finally Nokia has made its entry in the high-megapixel mobile phone race. The company recently launched an 8 megapixel N-series mobile phone, N86, in the Indian market. N86 8MP comes with additional features including Flash lite 3.1, USB charging with simultaneous data transfer and UPnP and TV out.
