Most of the Vista users are not happy with the boot logos that are preinstalled in Vista. Most of them want to change it. So here is the hack from that you should simplify the process of creating the new high resolution boot logos!. For this you need to download the Windows Vista boot logo generator which can be freely obtained at the authors homepage.
After this you need to have an image in the formats 800*600 and 1024*768 saved as 24-bit BMPs which can be accomplished with any image viewer or image manipulation software. Once you have create these two images, start Windows Vista boot logo generator and select these two images from your PC.
Select File, Save Boot Screen File As from the menu afterwards and move the generated files into System32\en-US of your Windows Vista installation.
You’ll also need to make sure the /NOGUIBOOT option is enabled in the MSCONFIG tool, otherwise you’ll only get the old 16 colour boot screen.
