Download Indian Rupee symbol font

Mangalore-based Foradian Technologies Pvt Ltd has created a font called Rupee_Foradian. It can be downloaded from the company’s blogsite — http://blog.foradian.com — and used for free. Within the hour, the trial version of the font was downloaded 1,100 times. When downloads crossed the 5,000 mark, the company worked on the full version, which it has also made available for free on the site.

How to use the Indian Rupee Symbol Font
1. Download the font which is in the ttf format (Rupee_Foradian.ttf)
2. Install the font or simply copy and paste into the font folder. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users can right click and install the font.

Once installed you can using it by selecting the font to Rupee and use the ~ key to get the symbol on the page.

    there should be a symbol of our Indian currency on the keyboards. If there can be symbol of US then why not India’s?
