This update seems to have fixed my wifi connectivity problem. I have a Verizon ActionTek router and prior to the update my iPad would lose its connection (that is to say, it would require signing in again with a password) at least once or twice an hour. This was despite having tried all the numerous “fixes” suggested by Apple such as turn off 802.11B compatibility, switch security protocols, etc. etc. Since the update I have not had any dropped connections.
