Now Apple has released a new update to the iPhone 2.2 firmware which can now be downloaded via iTunes. It should be noted that this is not a major (dot) upgrade as “3.0? will be. This update merely focuses on bug fixes and stability improvements for iPhone owners.

iPhone Firmware 2.2.1 and iPod Firmware 2.2.1 Features

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
• Improved general stability of Safari
• Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll

i have an ipod touch 16 gig 1.1.5 and have been trying to download the software 2.2.1 and its just going to Error everytime it’s on the last part of restoring.. its very frustrating as there are lots of benefits from haveing this software but i cant get around how to get it ? any advise would be very much appriciated

i have iphone 8gb 2.2,unable to recover giving unknown error 14, tried i mac,win xp no result.if some one gone throgh similar problem, please comment
