TuneSquare is designed to allow users to download free music and still generate enough revenue to pay the artists for their contributions. TuneSquare is based on ad-supported downloading–and given the size of the community, it seems to be working. The ads are not exactly subtle but they are placed intelligently and are actually fun to look at.
