Today Opera has released an Opera Mini 5 beta for Google’s Android platform, the beta release of Opera Mini 5 is an incredibly stable release, calling upon the core engine that has already been rolled out to other platforms, including Java, Symbian and BlackBerry OS. Opera Mini 5 Beta features an updated interface along with a new “speed dial” homescreen which delivers a thumbnail view of the user’s most visited websites, and also a first for Opera Mini the support of tabs.
