WinPwn 2.0 has now been released. If you have WinPwn 1.0 installed, than have to UNINSTALL it first. . .or it will mess things up. Winpwn 2.0 can easily unlock your iPhone or iPod Touch 2.0 firmware just like PwnageTool does in Mac.
How-to use:
- 1) First create a custom IPSW using the IPSW Builder.
- 2) Click “Ipwner” and browse for the custom IPSW that you just created. This will pwn itunes and allow you to flash
Custom IPSW files via DFU mode
- 3) Once you have pwned Itunes, put your phone into DFU mode. If you don’t know how to do this click Here.
- 4) Once you are in DFU mode Itunes will pop up and then you can hold shift and click restore and browse to your custom IPSW file.
Where do i get a IPSW Builder. I did everything you guys asked but I must have misread something because all i got the keypad screen with emergency call going across in different languages. I just want to unlock this phone so I can use the ATT. Hopefully whatever I did I am half way there. Can you guys explain the rest.
