Fastest Online Virus Scanner - NanoScan
NanoScan is an new and fast online virus scanner developed by Panda Software. It takes only 1-2 minutes to scan your whole PC. NanoScan is a free online solution that detects different kind of malware that could be running on the computer. It scans more than million samples of known malware, but because it scans the whole computer in just a couple of minutes, it doesn’t detect all the installed malware, especially those of lower importance (adware, cookies etc).
However, if it finds some virus or any other kind of undesirable crapware you can click through provided scan reports and access TotalScan. TotalScan will find those threats and remove them. After the scan is over, TotalScan shows a list of malware found on the tested computer. For easier understanding, malware is divided by threat level. Majority of lower threats are cookies, which in my perspective aren’t a threat at all.

I don’t know how far the online virus checkers are successful. But I have never been comfortable with them.
