After waitng for a month now Firefox 3 Beta is Avialable for download. New features include a Places Organizer for bookmarks and saved searches, a plug-in manager for the likes of Flash, Java and other helpers, and many more improvements and changes. Firefox 3 Beta 1 is a free download for Windows, Mac and Linux. You can download Firefox 3 Beta from here

Here are some of the new features:

1. Malware Protection: malware protection warns users when they arrive at sites which are known to install viruses, spyware, trojans or other malware.
2. One click site info: Click the site favicon in the location bar to see who owns the site. Identity verification is prominently displayed and easier to understand.
3. Improved password and download management.
4. More personalization options with bookmarks and searches.
5. Resumable downloading: users can now resume downloads after restarting the browser or resetting your network connection.
6. Plugin management: users can disable individual plugins in the Add-on Manager.
