  1. Thank you for this, worked a charm for me.

Quick and dirty tip – if you used Super Su to root your phone, you can un-root it from the app too. Simply scroll down to ‘Cleanup’ and select ‘Full Unroot’. Didn’t work for me the first time but I rebooted, did it straight away and it worked a charm.

  2. First i have to say thanks for the wonderful tip.
I have a OP2 with oxygen 2.1.0 and could not update to 2.2.0, it always say update error after downloading the update and tried to install.
After all the research, i dediced to follow the steps above and it works, now my OP2 have the latest 2.2.0, and these are the easy steps i took.
    1. download the Oxygen OS 2.1.1 rom (1.1Gb) from the link above to your PC (somehow cant download direct to my phone) then download the Oxygen 2.1.2 OTA (47Mb) file from above also to your pc.
    2. transfer the two zipfiles into your phone under any directory (mine under download)
    3. turn off my phone, then press down and power until i go to recovery mode. It will ask what language to use (english), then install from SD and pick the Oxygen 2.1.1 ROM file. After that DONT reboot, and press YES to go back to main menu, and install from SD the Oxygen 2.1.2 OTA file. After that then you can reboot. and that’s it, my phone was updated from 2.1.0 to 2.2.0

    Thanks again for the info!!
