Gdow : Get notifications about your incoming Gmail messages

Gdow is a highly configurable Gmail notifier. It can notify you with a classic message box, a popup balloon, or a transparent animated form. The latter is fully configurable: background color, font (color, size, type), width, maximum height (the form will auto-adjust its height, if max height is reached the notify message will auto-scroll), transparency.

Gdow runs in the background and is managed through a system tray icon that is expressive: number of new Gmails, Gdow’s checking state and Gdow’s error state.

Features:

the system tray icon is expressive :
- 1-10 = number of unread messages on your gmail account
- 10+ = more than 10 unread messages
- C = checking
- E = error, connexion error (internet or username or password error) or unusable datas error (for example if gmail atom feed informations are unavailable)

the transparentent animated form is highly configurable :
- background color
- font (color,size,type, etc..)
- width
- maximum height (the pannel will autoadjust its height, if max height is reached the notify message will autoscroll)
- transparency

- right click on the animated form
