The fast-growing Android operating system has hit a new milestone, according to a tweet from the Google executive that heads the effort. According to Rubin, more than 300,000 Android phones are activated every day. This announcement has come on the heels of Google’s big Nexus S and Android 2.3 announcement. This number is higher than the phones that Apple, BlackBerry, and Symbian is activating per day.
