Today Google Launched the new Service Google Buzz, Google Buzz lets you share updates, photos, links, and pretty much anything else you’d like with your Gmail contacts; it’s an easy way to follow your friends, too. When you click Buzz in your Gmail account, you’ll see the stream of posts from people you’re following, and a box for you to post your updates. The new Google service ties together Google’s Picasa and Gmail along with Twitter and Flickr to create essentially a feed driven social network of sorts — with the feed bearing some similarities to the feed that has helped Facebook become the world’s largest social network.
You can post status updates directly to Buzz or pull in posts from Twitter or FriendFeed, YouTube videos, photos from Flickr or Picasa, links (complete with photos) from Google Reader or any source listed in your Google Profile. Buzz is fully integrated with Gmail’s inbox. You can go to buzz.google.com and turn it on right now if you’re a Gmail user.

Google/Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo should just team up so that they can just take the lead away from Facebook, or at least put up a fight.
