Search engine Gaint Google now released there new version of Google Desktop 5. It helps you to Search your computer as easily as you search the web with Google. The company has also made some improvements in the user interface of the application. Also, they have added some new security features to fight phishing and other online attacks.
The new version comes with preview feature which show the contents of a file without having to launch the application it was created with.
Google Desktop 5.0 also has a redesigned, flashier sidebar with some best gadgets and a much slicker Add Gadgets interface.The new Desktop promises better security, alerting you when you’re about to visit a possible phishing site or install malicious software.
The version 5 has been released in beta as the company wants to check out for any flaws before releasing the final edition.
