Google has updated all of its product logos – Docs, News, Maps, etc – to all share a more standardized look and feel. New Logo designs are standardized to be the same size and color wherever they appear. This should make it easier for you to recognize which site you are on and navigate to wherever you want to go. I think it is better if the products are in black. Too colorful now! But the font is simple and clean.
