Google has announced a Jan. 5 press event for news on its Android mobile operating system and it looks like the Nexus One, a.k.a. the Google Phone, may go on sale in just a week. Tmonews on Tuesday posted a screenshot of an internal T-Mobile Web page that said the Bellevue-based company will handle “billing, coverage, features and rate plans.” Troubleshooting and exchanges will be managed by Google and phone maker HTC, the page states, and launch is set for “early January.”
