Google Pack adds Norton antivirus and spyware removal software

Google has announced the new Google Pack with some new Softwares like Norton Antivirus and Spyware removal Software. The updated software pack now delivers new security options and a fresh way to display photos.

Norton Security Scan will be included in the latest version of “Google Pack,”. According to Symantec’s most recent Internet Security Threat Report, home users or “the everyday Internet user” made up the most highly targeted sector, accounting for 93 percent of all targeted attacks. With Norton Security Scan, users have an easy-to-use tool that scans their PC specifically for viruses and spyware. In addition to the scan feature, the Google Pack version of Norton Security Scan removes all existing viruses, trojans and worms found on a user’s PC and provides them with helpful tips on how they can further improve their PC security. Norton Security Scan replaces Norton AntiVirus 2005 Special Edition which was part of the initial line-up of software when the Google Pack first launched in 2006.

For spyware problems Google Pack brings the PC Tools Spyware Doctor Starter Edition, an exclusive version of the anti-spyware and anti-malware utility including scheduled scanning, threat removal, limited active protection and free automatic updates.

Google has also updated the Google Photos Screensaver, turning it into a digital picture frame that displays the latest photos from friends, family, and favorite photographers. Users can show images from their computer, Picasa Web Albums, or photo feeds from other photo-sharing sites.

The Google Updater, included in the Google Pack, keeps them up to date so users don’t need to worry about missing out on new features. Google Pack Beta is available in 12 languages, runs on Window XP and Vista, and supports Internet Explorer 6.0 and Firefox 1.0 and higher.
