How to add Subtitle to Movies

When you download or ripped a movie and find that there are no subtitles, you won,t understand now what to do how to get the subtitles for the movie. In this post i will let you know how to add subtitles in Movies. For this first you have to download VobSub from here. This is a free subtitle filtering utility that works on the Directshow environment.

Tutorial :

1. Download Vobsub:

2. Install vobsub

3. Open the folder where your movie is located.

4. Place the .srt file (subtitle file) or find the Subtitle file form the following sites:

http://www.subtitlesbox.com/
http://www.rdwsubs.com
http://www.subscene.com

http://www.divxmovies.com/subtitles/

5. Make sure that the name of the .srt file is exactly the same as the name of the movie, If not than rename it with the Movie File name.

Thats all, now you can enjoy your movie with subtitle

    1.Download the srt file from http://www.opensubtitles.org according to the dvd release

    2.Place in the movie folder with same name as movie file

    3.Use Media player classic,vlc or showtime to place…

    4.Use showtime for tweaking subtitles delay in case you couldnt find a proper srt file
