Finally Geohat released the Limera1n to Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod touch 4G / 3G, untethered running iOS 4.1. Limera1n is currently available for Windows only and Mac and Linux version will be available soon. Here are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 using Limera1n for Windows. Limera1n supports iOS 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, and 4.1.
NOTE:Do not update to iOS 4.1 if you need the unlock. Ultrasn0w does not support that baseband yet.
Here are the Instructions
1. Download Limera1n here
2. Now connect your iPhone via USB to your computer and click on “make it ra1n”.
3. You iPhone will now be placed in recovery mode and Now hold “Home” + “Power” buttons:
4. When Limera1n asks you to, release the power button.
5. Your phone will now be in DFU mode
6. After all this you will see the image of a lime raindrop on your iPhone. Limera1n will let you know when it is complete.
7. Now Jailbreak is done
8. After you power back on your iPhone you will see a new icon on the SpringBoard entitled limera1n. Press it to continue.
9. Once Limera1n opens select Cydia then press the Install button at the top right of the screen.
10. Once the Cydia installation has completed you must reboot your iPhone.
11. When your iPhone has restarted you can run Cydia. And do the necessary updates.

After i hold down power&home and i release power nothing happens… Am i supposed to still hold the home button? Or release them both? I dont get it
