		<description>Actually, pretty much all toothpastes contain glycerin, a gummy sticky goopy kind of substance whose film residue would probably be quite effective in filling in scratches on the surface of a CD or DVD. 

I have also heard that Turtle Wax for your car also makes a very effective scratch repair agent.  I have tried this just once so far, and it did indeed seem to work.  I plan on doing some more testing though before declaring the Turtle Wax method to be verified.</description>
