Oneplus Team released the new OxygenOS 2.1 update for the Oneplus 2 Android smartphone and the new update comes with lots fo fixes that were causing problems with popular 3rd party apps. The new OxygenOS 2.1 OTA update will reach a small percentage of users today and very soon all of the user will get this update in the phone. To check the update go to the Settings > About Phone > System Update. Here you will see the OTA update on the phone. But if you are the rooted phone user with TWRP recovery then you will not get this update, you have to flash the zip file manually. Here in this tutorial we’ll show you how to update the Oneplus 2 with latest OxygenOS 2.1 OTA update. The process is very simple and takes a few minute to flash the new update.
The below mention guide is all of the oNeplus users who are rooted with TWRP recovery and also for the non-rooted users with stock recovery. Read all the steps very carefully and follow all the steps one by one on your Oneplus 2 android smartphone.
Install OxygenOS 2.1 OTA on Oneplus 2
Step 1. Download the below mention files on your phone. If you are the not rooted user then install the OTA 2.1 Zip file only. If you are rooted user with TWRP user then download both the files.
Download the latest Full ROM OxygenOS 2.0.2 zip file on your phone
Download the latest OTA 2.1 Zip file on your phone
If you are the non-rooted user with a stock recovery flash the OTA 2.1 zip file from recovery on your phone and you are done. A rooted user with TWRP recovery follows the below mention steps.
Step 2. Once both the files are saved on your phone. Boot your phone in recovery mode. See this how to boot phone in recovery mode.
Step 3. Once your phone in TWRP mode. Tap the Install button and Flash the full OxygenOS 2.0.2 zip
Step 4. Now Flash the 2.1 OTA update zip file.
Step 5. After flashing both the zip files. Go back to the main menu Reboot system “Swipe to disable” NOT “Not disable”
That’s it. Now your Oneplus 2 is running on the OxygenOS 2.1.

I am a non rooted user but when I enter in the recovery menu, I select language and then when I press install from SD I cannot enter the phone storage. Any idea why?

Hi, I have non rooted One Plus Two with 2.0.2 version, but 2.1 updation failed when flash 2.1 OTA update zip file. pls advise.
