Apple released the iPhone 3.0 beta 2 Version for the Developers, Registered developers should be able to download the beta by logging into the iPhone Dev Center. The Original beats is released on March 17 you can download the previous ver here. There’s also good and bad news with this release. The good is that MMS and tethering are supported in beta 2. The bad news is that Apple asks developers not use them. It’s like owning a Ferrari without wheels.
Changes in Beta 2
There’s reportedly a new menu item in the system preferences labeled “Store” that contains no data.
The build runs much faster than beta 1 and includes substantial stability improvements.
No other changes are being reported at this time.
