Phone Dev Team has confirmed that iPhone 4 is unlockable by means of a background task enabled in a similar manner to that employed for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. Reports point out to one of the hacker’s recent Twitter updates saying, “Next step is to keep the task backgrounded like we did for 3G/3GS. Backgrounded task is the unlock.” Two weeks ago, the Team updated its PwnageTool application to version 4.0, bringing jailbreak support for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and second generation iPod touches. Subsequently updated to version 4.01 (for one reason or another), the tool can effectively jailbreak these devices, but does not provide a carrier unlock.
For this, ultrasn0w 0.93 is available for unlocking iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS devices. As revealed by MuscleNerd’s Twitter feed, the iPhone 4 is next on the list of supported devices.

Ok I know this isn’t exactly about the unlocked 4, but i want to know how to play .flac on my 3gs….can you help me out?
