If you have the Unlocked and Jailbreak Iphone, than don,t try to upgrade it, coz it will lock your Phone, and you can,t unlock it after.
BTW to install the new Firmware click Shift+restore button in Itunes and select the new Firmware.
NOTE:- Don,t update if you have Unlocked and Jailbreak iPhone
