Manage your folders with Magic Folder

The Magic Folder is basically a utility that helps you categorize and move files. When you drag a file into the utility, it will look at the file extension and place Document files (like DOC, XLS, PPT, etc) in the Documents folder. The same principle works for other file extensions - image files like (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, etc) are automatically placed into the Pictures folder. It’s not fixed in stone however where the files you go. You can add/remove file extensions recognized by The Magic Folder and change where files go or even add your own folder locations. Alternatively, you can configure the program to prompt you for the storage location each time you move a folder.
