Steps to Follow:
1. Download the Android 2.3.3 Update for the Nexus S here
2. Rename the file update.zip and copy it to the internal storage of your Nexus S via USB.
3. Turn off the phone
4. Turn your phone on by holding the “Power” and “Volume Up” at the same time to access the bootloader.
5. A screen should appear showing your phone’s system searching for various files. Scroll down to “recovery” using the “Volume Down” key and press the “Power” button.
6. You’ll only see a triangle with an exclamation point in it at this point, so hold down the “Power button” and hit the “Volume up” button for the recovery menu to appear.
