redsn0w 0.9.3 is now available for download by the iPhone Dev Team, This version has the ability of jailbreaking your device without requiring you to use iTunes. Previously, iTunes was needed to re-load the custom firmware that jailbreaking programs, such as PwnageTool, would package together. Redsn0w also prevents the iPhone’s baseband from being upgraded, allowing users to freely update without accidentally bricking their phones.
