Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 today at CTIA. The new version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a display at 1280 by 800, a 1-GHz dual-core CPU, dual-antenna Wi-Fi, a 3-megapixel camera in the back and a 2-megapixel one up front and a Galaxy Tab 8.9—which at 8.6mm is the “world’s thinnest mobile tablet,” according to Samsung. The Galaxy Tab 8.9, like its 10.1-inch brother, will be powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and will come in both WiFi and 4G HSPA+ network versions. The Tab will also have a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3-megapixel back-facing camera.
