Samsung’s most awaited Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab has officially hit the UK markets. The Android 2.2 Froyo tablet is supposed to be coming to all the major UK carriers. Those UK customers interested in the purchase of this 7-inch slate from Samsung can have it either via wireless carriers in the country, with a contract agreement included into the equation or without, or via other retailers, including Carphone Warehouse which offers both options too.
It is powered by the Android 2.2 operating system and features a seven-inch touchscreen display, a 1GHz processor, up to 32GB of internal memory and 512MB of RAM. It’s supposed to be coming to all the major UK carriers in addition to Carphone Warehouse, Dixons, and T-Mobile shops.
At the moment, the device has been spotted at the Carphone Warehouse. The retailer is extending a bunch of offers for those who want to get their hands on this cute tablet from Samsung.
Under the two year contract deal, it will cost £99.99 with a monthly plan of £40. Other deals from Carphone Warehouse range from those which cost the tablet £149.99 to £499.99 according to the change in the contract period and monthly plan. However, the product is also offered for a standalone price of £529.99.
