Gmail push for iPhone, Windows Mobile

Google’s Mobile division, announced today on the official Google Mobile blog that they have enabled Push support for Gmail for iPhone and Windows Mobile devices. While other applications such as calendars and contacts already had the capability, Push connectivity for Gmail could only be accomplished using third-party applications. Google Sync began as a beta service to sync Google calendar items and contacts to iPhone, Windows Mobile, and Symbian Series 60 phones. Owners of iPhones, iPod Touches, and Windows Mobile phones can now set it up to include Gmail messages as well.
Google Voice Search for BlackBerrys Phones

Google released a new mobile application on Wednesday that brings its Voice Search feature to BlackBerrys Mobile Phones. The new app will let BlackBerry smartphones perform voice-based searches and deliver local results, to boot. The application, which is a free download, provides a shortcut to several Google services such as Gmail, Maps, News and Reader.
Google Apps Status Dashboard alerts Google Apps downtime

Google Inc. introduced its new Google Apps Status Dashboard, which will immediately alert users to any problems with the hosted services or alerts about Google Apps downtime. The dashboard is designed to let users check on the current availability of the company’s various services, which include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Video.
