When Windows boots up several other components are started, such as drivers and other constituent software. Some programs are loaded into the autostart folder upon installation. Subsequently these programs run every time you start up Windows.
Should you suspect that such a program is causing an issue with Windows, for example influencing system stability, you can easily prevent programs in the autostart folder to boot up with the operating system. Instead of deleting single entries you can stop them all, just to see if the problem persists.
When re-booting click the Shift key. That’s it.
