TinyPic is an automatic file resize. It selects an optimized balance between file size and image quality. The files will be reduced to 20-80kB with a minimum of Quality loss. The main purpose is to shrink pictures for emails, and the user interface is so easy to use that anybody can use the program.
The software is designed for people who are not familiar with image resizing and compression levels, and it is basically fool-proof to operate. You can select between 3 different sizes and a `supersmall` option that further reduces the size by increasing the compression level. The resized images are saved with a new name in the same folder, or can be placed in a new folder, named after the selected image size. TinyPic maintained an acceptable image quality across all resize operations that we tested. Mostly suitable for resizing images to be sent by email.
