I have re-installed iTunes, i have legitimately restored my iPod (which works) and still no luck! It is a 2nd Gen 8 GB ipod touch. I know this for a fact, no possible way it's not. The firmware i have tried 3.1.1, 3.1.2 and even 3.1.0 and always the same thing! All those firmwares were also verified for 2nd Gen firmware! Please!
