So Finally there is a good news to All Windows 7 Lovers, Microsoft confirmed on Tuesday that it is planning for Windows 7 to hit retail shelves and start showing up on new PCs on October 22. Last month, Microsoft made the Windows 7 release candidate available for download. “The feedback from the release candidate has been good”, says Bill Veghte. Windows 7 will come in six flavors: Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise. The lineup is an improvement over Vista, as it’s apparent that Microsoft has taken to heart the criticism it faced over the Vista versioning system. Microsoft has yet to make any announcements on pricing.
