At MIX10 show, microsoft Unveiled the new Windows Phone 7 Marketplace, Windows Phone Marketplace now supports credit card purchases, operator billing, and ad-supported content as well as a try-before-you-buy scheme. Purchased apps can be pinned to the Quick Launch screen making it easier to access. It’s also confirmed that the new Windows Phone Marketplace will be the official exclusive distributor of apps for Windows Phone 7.
Microsoft has also partnered with content partners such as Netflix, Pandora, Sling, the Associated Press and Foursquare to provide applications and media. Additionally, Microsoft has decided to take a cue from Apple and create its own review process for applications.
