The beta version of Yahoo Messenger 9 has been released yesterday and can be downloaded from the official Yahoo Messenger Beta website. New features include the ability to view YouTube or Yahoo Videos, Flickr pictures and online map links with another user, as well as a removal of the 1GB size limit on file transfers. The whole software has a new look and feel with large avatar pictures of your contacts, new skins and emoticons.
The most useful option in my opinion could be the build in media viewer which displays links to photos, videos and the like in messenger.
