Yes now youtube is trying a new way of combating copyright violations on the site – removing the audio, leaving the video. Yes If you posted Unauthorized Copyrighted Music Video on Youtube and it was Copyrighted than they will remove the Audio from the Video. The official notice from YouTube under the video says the following: “This video contains an audio track that has not been authorised by all copyright holders. The audio has been disabled.”

After muting the videos, YouTube then displays a note below the video screen saying that the video content contains an unauthorized audio track. This simply means that practically, YouTube is making its video sharing site a silent hill for user-generated content.
