Send Password Protected Emails From Gmail With SecureGmail

Now today we found a new addon which helps you to encrypts and decrypts emails you send in Gmail. SecureGmail is a Chrome extension which gives you the feature to protect or secure your emails with a password, so no once can read you email without the passwords. Works with any of your Gmail account but to use this service you have to use Google chrome browser and install the SecureGmail extension on the browser.

This extension is very useful to all those users who want to send the email with the password and no one can read or see their email message without knowing the password. All you hvae to pickup a strong password with the hint to send the email. So lets take a look how the extension works on the Gmail inbox.

As we mention above to use this extension you need a Google Chrome Browser and the addon installed on your browser. You can find the download link of the addon at the end of this post. Once the extension is installed on your Google chrome browser. Login to your Gmail account with your username and password, now on your Gmail account next to compose button you can see the new red button with a lock icon. See the screenshot below:-

From the compose Gmail compose button you send the email in normal way, but if you want to send the email with password and in secure way than click on lock button. From here type your new message which you want to send your friend. After that hit the “Send Encrypted” Button from the below.

Now a new pop windows will appear on your compose screen and will ask you enter the password and hint of the password to send the Encrypted emails. Your recipient have to add that password on the email to read the message on his/her mailbox.

Once your friend received the message he or she has to enter the password to read the complete message. If they are not using the Addon on the Google chrome browser, they’ll be prompted to install it first, and then enter the password to read your message.

The extension is free to use, the encryption works like a charm and without any problem. But to use this service both the sender and recipient have to use the same addon on the Google chrome browser.
